Full Job Description
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for planning, support, and execution of various digital marketing initiatives. This is an “in-the-weeds” role requiring working knowledge of pay-per-click / paid search, PLA / Datafeeds, SEO, and Display / Programmatic. The ideal candidate will be able to both think and act quickly in a fast-paced environment.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Day-to-day planning, execution, and analysis of paid-search and product listing ads programs
- Work closely with agencies on a daily basis
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams on various digital marketing projects
- Optimize and troubleshoot digital marketing data feeds
- Manage a schedule that supports both regional and seasonal marketing initiatives through paid search and other digital marketing avenues
- Identify opportunities to improve channel performance, both online and in-store
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (the right candidate must possess the following characteristics):
- Strong analytical skills: must have working knowledge of commonly-used digital marketing metrics and the ability to draw insights from them.
- Verbal and Written communication: ability to communicate effectively and tell stories with/from data that are understandable to technical and non-technical teams
- Fast learner: Ability to quickly identify and close gaps in knowledge
- Strong time-management skills
- Self-driven: knows how to prioritize and is able to focus on projects and tasks that are most impactful
- Collaborative: ability to work with individuals and teams across multiple functions and with all levels of management
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working with digital marketing agencies
- Retail or ecommerce experience strongly preferred
- Experience with digital marketing and ecommerce tools and platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Yext, Google Merchant Center, Microsoft Ad Center
